Agreement
These Terms of Service govern use of Adler40, a Discord Embedded App operated by TODO_OPERATOR_NAME. By accessing or using Adler40, you agree to these terms and to Discord's applicable terms, policies, and community rules. If you do not agree, you may not use Adler40.
Description Of Service
Adler40 provides a digital multiplayer card game that runs inside Discord activity sessions. Users in the same Discord activity instance can join a room, choose player or spectator roles, and play a turn-based card game together.
Adler40 is provided as a proof of concept. Features, rooms, game state, scoring, and availability may change or be unavailable without notice.
Eligibility
You may use Adler40 only if you are allowed to use Discord and are at least 18 years old. Adler40 is intended for adults only. Minors may not use the app.
Discord Account And Access
Adler40 uses Discord for identity and activity access. We do not provide separate Adler40 account registration. You are responsible for your Discord account and for activity that occurs through your Discord account while using Adler40.
Acceptable Use
You agree to treat other users with respect and to follow Discord's rules and these terms.
- Use the app only for lawful, casual multiplayer gameplay.
- Do not harass, threaten, abuse, or target other users.
- Do not distribute defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, illegal, or otherwise harmful content.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or permissions.
- Do not advertise, sell, or promote products or services through Adler40 without written permission.
- Do not upload, link, or distribute harmful software, code, scripts, or data.
- Do not disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass, or interfere with Adler40 or its backend services.
- Do not create or use unauthorized servers, clients, automation, bots, or emulators for Adler40.
- Do not remove or modify proprietary notices, credits, or license information.
- Do not use Adler40 to violate Discord's Terms of Service, Developer Policy, or Community Guidelines.
- Do not use Adler40 in a way that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
User Conduct And Content
Users are responsible for their own behavior and for any content or communication they submit through Discord while using Adler40. We are not responsible for user-generated Discord messages, voice communications, or other communication outside the app itself.
Suspension And Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Adler40 immediately, without prior notice, when needed to protect users, comply with law, operate the service, investigate abuse or security issues, or respond to violations of these terms or Discord rules.
User Reports And Support
Report issues, abuse, policy violations, or security concerns at TODO_CONTACT_EMAIL. Reports should include a short description, relevant room/channel context, time of the incident, and the Discord user IDs involved when available.
Payments
Adler40 currently does not sell paid features, subscriptions, virtual goods, or in-game purchases.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what data the app processes and how deletion requests can be made.
Intellectual Property
The app, game assets, code, and documentation are owned by their respective owners. Third-party notices for included libraries, fonts, and sound assets are available in the app and in third-party notices.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Changes
We may update these terms when Adler40 changes or when legal, operational, or platform requirements change. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to make the updated terms available before or when the change takes effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
